Comic was the theme for the 52 Week Project. Axle was the model of choice and we went the direction of comical.
First we started with tossing treats to get “treat face”. The lovely touch of boxer in Axle gave him some impressive jowls (you should see them flap in the wind when he’s got his head out the window) and faux throwing the treats often cause him to move his head or jump a little which then activates those amazing lips of his.
When we were out of treats, we turned to tossing and faux tossing a ball, which got even more jowl flapping! Add some water from his kiddie pool and the images got even more comical!
Next up visit Linda Perdue with VP Shoots Photography in Tampa, Florida to see how she captured comic!
Axle really is the best comedian. Looks like he had a great time helping you with the theme! 🙂
Life really is wonderful when its filled with a happy doggie. These are awesome. Love it!
definitely some cute photographs – I love the one where the eyes are on the ball ….or maybe thinking someone was going to take the ball away?
Great idea to get the jowl shots!
Axle looks like he had a blast as a model. So much fun to be had. Great job.
Great shots! I always love shots with the dog licking his chops! Such fun.
Dogs are such characters! These are perfect for that comic touch!
Also, I’m so impressed you got that treat to stay balanced on his nose. My dog would never have that level of patience or self-control with a bone!
Haha! I’m sure Axle enjoyed this weeks theme as much as you did!
