Frank’s owner had won a session from a silent auction and contacted me before they moved out of the state for a new adventure.
The day arrived, cloudy with threats of rain (but it held off huzzah!). We toodled area at their house out in the country with a MASSIVE yard, a quaint bridge, a vast wildflower area, cute pond and loads of running room. (If you want to do a session at your house, this is the IDEAL backyard!)
Frank was adopted from Tri County Humane Society and his formal new name is actually: Franklinias! He, like all the pets before him, was named after a flower! Franklinias feature a large camellia like flower with leaves that turn bright red in fall!
Frank’s sister Bell joined us. She is an older lab but that didn’t keep her from chasing a ball – her favorite thing in the whole world!
Sessions like this are what it’s all about — sunshine, laughter, and a pair of dogs completely in their element. There’s nothing better than capturing those genuine, joyful moments that show off their personality.
If your dog loves the great outdoors and you’ve been dreaming of photos that celebrate who they are, let’s make it happen! Get in touch to start planning your session.
