Spend the day at an EPIC location with your dog!
This session is for adventure loving dogs & their people. Together we’ll spend the day at an EPIC location in Minnesota – the North Shore, Sherburne Wildlife Refuge, Banning State Park, Interstate Park (MN & WI) or we can create an EPIC waterfall tour featuring your dog!
A full day of photography & adventure, documenting your dog, your bond, your shared adventurous spirit and wrapping up with sunset

Turn your dog into artwork you’ll see every day.
Signature Dog Sessions are fun, adventurous sessions that are perfect for everyday schedules. We’ll visit a myriad of amazing locations throughout Minnesota while spending the evening hour together in golden light.
This is for the dog parents who want more than files on a screen. We’ll create EPIC images of your dog, then turn them into something real & touchable – wall art, albums, and pieces that actually live in your home.

Worried your dog isn’t “perfect”? That’s exactly the point.
These sessions are designed for real dogs — shy dogs, silly dogs, energetic dogs, senior dogs, and dogs who need a little extra patience.

I only schedule a small number of sessions each month (usually no more than 5) so every client gets a fully personalized experience.
Because of this, availability can book out in advance – so if you’re considering a session, I recommend reserving your spot early.
(For those dreaming of fall portraits, October 17th / 18th is usually peak color season in Minnesota.)

What happens after you book your About A Dog Photography session?
First you’ll receive an email with the About A Dog Photography Welcome Packet – read it to get what to wear ideas, inspiration on where to have your dog’s session andb products that will turn your dog’s images into EPIC one of a kind artwork.
Next you’ll receive an email from me about where you & your dog want to go for your dog’s photography session. Think about your dog’s personality – bold, brazen & edgy dogs pair well with urban locations, while sweet, strong and charming dogs pair wonderfully in nature. (Though bold dogs + nature is awesome and sweet dogs + urban is stunning too!)
Are you SWOONING for your dog + waterfalls? Let’s do it! Summertime & leaf peeping season will busiest – to avoid crowds morning & weekday sessions will work in our favor.
If your dog is reactive, anxious or shy, we will work together and decide a location that gives us ample space and less people and other dogs – mornings and weekdays will be our staple.
After the location is set for your dog’s session it is time to prep!
