2026 Walk for Animals | Animal Humane Society
Saturday May 2nd the dogs & their people came out for the 55th (!) Walk For Animals, this year at the MN State Fairgrounds. The weather was lovely and the dogs adorable. I was situated at the informal end of the walk. Seated eye level and happily snapping away!
Yes I did have the best job ever! And there were tons of kisses – eye level will encourage them every time. My favorite dogs I saw? The Swissy Oden (I know right, a SWISSY in the wild!) and a baby Swedish Valhund!Â
There was a costume contest, dogs of every shape & color and a myriad of vendors slinging their wares. Plus I saw Mishka the husky & Shiloh the sheltie – awww they’re getting older!Â
